Description :	Fragment de sculpture n°1. Tête reposant sur un coussin lisse, coiffée d'une mitre précieuse rehaussée d'un galon.

Historique :	Une fouille de sauvetage programmée, réalisée le 2 et le 7 novembre 2001 avait pour objet de situer le tombeau des saints abbés Mayeul (909-994) et Odilon de Cluny (961-1049) connu par deux dessins de Dom Hilaire Tripperet datés de 1748. Mayeul était le 4e abbé de Cluny, il est mort à Souvigny le 11 mai 994. Sa tombe fut l'objet de pèlerinages.
